From our terrace and through the large windows you look endlessly far over the hills of South Limburg.

A stone's throw from Germany and Belgium, on the edge of the longest forest in the Netherlands, stands Giraffe Lodge.

In the kitchen we work with local produce: trout from the Geul, cheeses from the area, Limburgse vlaai (regional fruit tart) from master baker Fransen and the best of slagerij Kusters.
