Giraffe Lodge is a venue for company outings in South Limburg, on the hilltop between Vijlen and Epen in Vaals. Meetings, team days, staff parties or drinks take place in the event hall, in the restaurant with its round panoramic windows and on the terrace, all with a view over the hills of three countries. The lodge is 10 kilometres from Aachen and 30 kilometres from Maastricht and has its own car park.
The programme is in the hands of FBLS Events, event planners Michelle and Mandy from Limburg. Both trained as event managers, they have organised weddings and events in the hills since 2009 and arrange the concept, the activities with regional partners and the day itself for you. Anything is possible, and everything is taken care of for you.

Meet and celebrate overlooking three countries
Giraffe Lodge stands on a hilltop at the edge of the Vijlenerbos forest, a few minutes' drive from the Three-Country Point and Aachen. From the outdoor terrace and through the large round windows of the restaurant, your guests look out over the hills of South Limburg, far into Belgium and Germany.
There are three spaces for a corporate event: the event room for meetings, brainstorms and presentations, the restaurant for lunch and dinner, and the terrace with its stretch tent for drinks and the barbecue. With a small team or the whole company: which spaces you use is something we settle during the introduction.
The kitchen likes to work with produce from the region. Lunch, dinner, buffet or barbecue is something you put together with the kitchen, drinks included.

A company outing at Giraffe Lodge combines work and fresh air: meeting in the event hall with the hills through the windows, then walking or cycling from the door through the Vijlenerbos. With local partners Michelle and Mandy arrange activities such as a wine excursion at Wijndomein Holset or cave biking in Valkenburg.
For a staff party or drinks the terrace with its stretch tent or the event hall is opened, with a barbecue or dinner buffet and, if you like, a DJ. Meeting, eating and celebrating all happen in one place, so nobody needs to move.
Giraffe Lodge lies in the far south-east of South Limburg, close to the borders with Germany and Belgium, which makes it easy to reach for teams from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The lodge has its own car park.

Walking and cycling straight from the door, through the Vijlenerbos forest and along the hills. With regional partners we arrange a wine tour at Wijndomein Holset, bike hire, cave biking in Valkenburg, a boat trip on the Meuse, a ski event at SnowWorld or a DJ and artists for the evening.
Where can our participants stay overnight?
In the hotels and holiday homes around Vaals, Vijlen and Epen, a few minutes from the lodge. FBLS includes the overnight stays and transport in the planning.
